Confidential Counselling Support
EAP is a safe and confidential space where you can seek professional advice, support or counselling. EAP can help with a wide range of different issues that can be either personal or work-related.
Services can be face to face or over the phone. EAP can be a place where you think through how to get the most out of your career or relationships or how to manage stresses of daily life. EAP can also assist you with serious problems like depression, drug and alcohol dependence or anxiety and help you seek a referral for ongoing assistance.
How can EAP help?
Assistance is available on personal or work-related matters, including:
- Conflicts at work or home
- Stress and pressure
- Family or parenting concerns
- Relationship difficulties
- Grief or loss
- Depression or anxiety
- Personal trauma
- Health and lifestyle
- Drug or alcohol problems
- Gambling or addictions
Your employer has or will engage The Recovre Group to support all of its employees. The EAP service is fully paid by your employer.
Typically, your employer sponsors three to five sessions of counselling. Please contact us to clarify your entitlement.
The counselling is strictly private and confidential. If you and the EAP consultant agree that a matter should be addressed at work or with your doctor, then your written authorisation will be obtained before sharing information with your employer or doctor.
Note: In exceptional circumstances, such as legal reasons, a serious threat to life or the health and safety of an individual, your personal information may be disclosed in line with the Privacy Act 1988.
